Attention local bourbon and whiskey lovers! On Friday, September 13, the Wright County Whiskey Club is hosting a Michter’s Limited Release Whiskey charity tasting event to raise money for Project Pencils, a 501(c)(3) organization that provides school supplies for Wright County students in need. Dinner will be provided by Big Bore Barbecue Company. The tasting location is a home on Beebe Lake; we will send the details to the RSVPs when they sign up.
The tasting cost is $125, and 100% of the proceeds will go to Project Pencils. Each attendee will get .75-ounce pours of six of the rarest whiskeys on the planet. For bourbon drinkers who haven’t gotten into rye whiskey, Michter’s rye expressions are a bourbon lover’s rye—very smooth.
Also, our gracious hosts said that attendees are welcome to bring a non-whiskey-drinking spouse or significant other to enjoy wine and dinner at no additional cost!
